Multicultural Scouting

Scouting welcomes all cultures and religious denominations, and both girls and boys to our membership.  By wearing the uniform and working as a team, differences are appreciated rather than divisive.  Both adults and youth benefit from learning about each other and their unique backgrounds. What’s most important in Scouting is what the youth have in common – a love of the outdoors and helping others as they grow and learn!

Celebrating diversity in Scouting! “Our Vision for the Future” is a video from the Central Ontario Administration Centre and National Communications which celebrates and promotes the increasing involvement of co-ed youth of many cultures and religious denominations in Scout Canada’s membership.
