| Quality Section AwardA quality program is the keystone of Scouting. To recognize those leadership teams who achieve a quality program on a regular basis, the Quality Section Award has been launched.
This award is a tangible and measurable way for sections to determine how well they are doing against a set standard and to identify any areas for improvement. It is also a way for us to regularly celebrate success as it happens.
The award will also bring a level of prestige to the sections that earn it. Ultimately, every section in the Council should earn this award; it is within the grasp of every leadership team. Until then, let those who have earned the Quality Section Award serve as a positive example and motivate those around them to achieve quality.
The challenge to every section in Chinook Council is simple: set goals, aim for quality, and improve the Scouting experience. Together we can impact the lives of youth and ‘Create a Better World’.
