Instructions:
Building Phase (30 minutes plus overnight drying):
- Remove lid from the glass jar.
- Spray both pieces of the lid, separately, with glitter spray paint.
- Once dry, seal the two pieces together with your glue and let it dry.
- Cut the foam ball in two.
- Taking one half of the ball, glue the flat part to the inside of the lid and let dry.
- Spray your decorative figurines, or the edges of a photo, with the adhesive and shower some glitter on top.
- Use the waterproof glue to seal the items to the foam ball on the inside of the jar’s lid, and let it dry overnight.
Assembly and Decoration (15 minutes plus overnight drying):
- Fill your mason jar with water and sprinkle some glitter in for additional ‘blizzard’ effect.
- Add several drops of glycerin (the more you add, the slower the ‘snow’ will move when the jar is shaken).
- Draw waterproof glue around the rim of the jar.
- Screw the lid (with figurines attached) onto the jar and let it dry overnight.
- Once the snow globe is fully dry, it’s ready to shake up a storm!
